The backstory
The voice of resilience. The heart of a servant.
Chris Davios is a speaker, author, writer, producer, business owner and servant leader whose life is a living testimony to the power of resilience, integrity, and faith. His journey has been shaped by profound adversity, yet he has consistently chosen to rise above his circumstances and help others do the same.
As a young child, Chris's life was marked by trauma. He witnessed domestic abuse in his home and was personally subjected to physical and sexual abuse. He is an Overcomer in every sense of the word. Rather than allowing those painful experiences to define or destroy him, Chris made a deliberate choice: he refused to let his past control his future. He realized that while we cannot always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond. He stands as proof that hurting people do not have to hurt others.
Inspired by the example of Jesus, who did not respond from a place of pain or retaliation but stayed focused on His divine purpose, Chris chose to break the cycle of hurt and instead become a source of healing and hope for others.
25 years of service
A commitment to integrity that came at a great cost
That same conviction guided his 25-year commitment to law enforcement and public service. He began his career as a security officer and advanced to the rank of Deputy Sheriff. However, his commitment to integrity came at a great cost. After witnessing corruption within his department and speaking up about it, Chris was terminated under circumstances he maintains were unlawful. The department reported to governing authorities that he had voluntarily resigned, casting a shadow over his years of service.
Yet, once again, Chris refused to be defined by injustice.
After a year and eight months away from the badge, Chris returned to public service, not for a paycheck, but because his calling to serve others remained unchanged. He served the next 18 years as a volunteer police officer, known in South Carolina as a State Constable. While working full-time in the corporate world and later building his own business, Chris dedicated his evenings, weekends, and personal time to protecting his community without compensation.
In a remarkable full-circle moment, he eventually found himself serving once again within the very department that had once dismissed him.

Through every chapter of his life, Chris has lived by a powerful truth: positions and titles can be taken away, but your character belongs to you. No one can control your response to life's trials except you. He has consistently chosen purpose over pain, integrity over bitterness, and service over self.
Today, Chris travels the world as an international speaker, sharing his message of healing, resilience, and restoration. He speaks with authority on childhood trauma, overcoming adversity, and the transformative power of choice. As an author, writer, and producer, he creates content that encourages people to move beyond survival and into a life of purpose and impact.
Above every professional achievement, Chris treasures his roles as a husband, father, and man of faith. These relationships remain the foundation of his life and the reason he continues to dedicate himself to helping others find healing and hope.
